I say teach him. If there are doors you don't want opened use locks or those child proof handles. I figure it's kind of a life skill they will need eventually. :)
I agree with Becky...though I'm not there yet. One of my friends put lotion on the handle when her daughter moved to a "big girl" bed so she couldn't leave her room when it was naptime; it worked and it was pretty funny too!
Sorry but I would say NO WAY!!!!!! It will be a sad day when he figures it out on his own and he will soon enough trust me. Keep them innocent as long as you can.
