Sounds like a good samaritan act right. Nope. It is the story of my life. About six months after we moved into our home, which was Sept. 06, I came home and our electricity was shut off. I went to the neighbor's to see if their's was on and it was. I called the electric company and they said they shut off the wrong person's electricty, they were suppose to turn of the neighbors. They came out switch the marking on the meters and we didn't have to pay our bill for a couple of months while they corrected the amount of money we had been paying. Then about 4 months after that I got up to brush me teeth in the morning, no water. Yep you guessed it. They came out switched the meters and we didn't have to pay our water bill for a month. When that happened we thought nothing else could possibly be switched. The only thing left is the gas bill and our meters are on our respective sides of our homes. On Wednesday I realized I needed to pay the gas bill so I had it out. Dave said, I am going to check our meters, just for kicks. Sure enough we have been paying their gas bill as well. We have lived in our house for 19 months, paying our neighbors gas bill! Hopefully there really isn't anything else, I just want to pay for my own bills. Is that too much to ask?!

Andrew's New Chairs
So Andrew is in the stage where he loves sitting on chairs. Everytime we go to my sister Mandy's house he just climbs in and out of some chairs she has for her kids. So Dave and I have been searching for a good, cheap chair to buy Andrew. We have looked at Ikea and found some we like but we couldn't decide what to get. Last week, Dave and I saw this lawn chair at Smith's for $3. Cheap and small. Perfect! It is really light weight so we keep it in the corner of the couches for stability but Andrew likes it because he can pick it up and move it if he wants. I am sure that will come in handy when he realizes that it can be used as a stepping stool to the couch!
We have been having problems with Andrew sitting down and eating in his high chair for the last month. Usually during the day I just end up letting him stand because I don't want to wrestle with him. Dave does not allow any standing, so at dinner time, if he stands up he has to get out and is not allowed to eat unless he is sitting. Visiting my sister-in-law Amy I found the solution. The $15 booster chair that attaches to a chair. It is great. There is no way Andrew can climb out. We have had two meals here and he loves it. I think he really enjoys being part of the table and not just being pushed to the side. Hopefully this will make him a better eater and we can get some more meat on those bones!

Easter!
So our Easter celebration started out on Saturday night with dying eggs. Andrew thought this was the funniest thing ever. We were baby sitting my sister's kids who are 5 and 3. The three year old picked up a cup of purple dye and decided to smell it. Her face cringed as she got a huge wiff of vinegar and then she exclaimed "Ewwwww, purple!" Andrew thought that was the greatest thing he ever heard. It then commenced into a ten minute laugh off when Dave and the girls smelled all the colors. It was so funny I had to video tape...Okay I will post the video soon. I am still figuring out how things work on the new computer!
Sunday morning Andrew woke up at 8am and church starts at 9am so we gave him his Easter basket. He was really into the candy! After two pieces I decided to hide it in the closet until much later. (He still hasn't gotten it back yet.) Sorry no pictures! I totally was in a rush to get ready for church.
Here are some pictures of Andrew after church in his easter attire. It isn't new, it was Carson's when he was little but I thought, why get something new when you have a perfectly good easter outfit already! We tried to get some outside but obviously that didn't work.

Here is what you have missed...
Well, it has been a long time. We now have a beautiful desktop computer and I love it. It does have one downfall, Dave bought one with a TV tuner so he can watch TV and look at the internet at the same time. I am never going to see my husband again! So here are some pictures of what has been going on lately in the Clawson's lives...
We threw Andrew a birthday party at our house. It was packed but everyone had a good time. We had a cupcake bar and pinata. I made a cake for Andrew. He would only eat it once I gave him a fork. What a weird kid.
Dave and I got a pass to the zoo. I think it is going to be a fun summer with a lot of zoo visits.
And as a said before, Dave and Scott took second in the Dutch Oven World Championships. This is a picture of their bread (this isn't the actual competition but one day when we practiced). It is the best bread in the world. It is stuffed with fresh roma tomatoes, basil and mozzerella cheese.
Not much else is going on. But don't worry, I will keep you updated from now on!

No worries!
For all those who are worried, I am not dead but our computer is. And I mean dead. There is no possible life left. We are on the hunt to purchase a new computer so hopefully soon I will be back online. I check everyone's blogs as often as possible but is hard to post. Keep updating and hopefully I will update more soon!
