Dutch Oven Baked Ziti

So last Saturday we had a DOG (Dutch Oven Gathering) at a park in Lehi. Dave is working on new recipe for bread for worlds so he put me in charge of the main dish. The bread he is making has an italian feel (inspired by a bread served at Rob's wedding for all that attended, it was sooo good), so I wanted to do an italian dish. I found this recipe for baked ziti and it turned out really good. Of course you don't have to make it in a dutch oven, I am sure a 9x13 would work. Try it out. (The picture doesn't do it justice, it was a lot prettier before it was eaten.)

1 lb ziti pasta

1 onion

1 lb ground beef

2 26 oz jars spaghetti sauce

6 ounces sliced provolone

1 1/2 cups sour cream

6 ounces mozzarella-grated

2 T parmesean

Boil ziti for 8 minutes (al dente). Brown onion and hamburger, add spaghetti sauce and simmer for 15 minutes. Butter dish (I didn't do this and it came out fine). Layer in the following order-1/2 ziti, provolone, sour cream, 1/2 sauce, 1/2 ziti, mozzarella, 1/2 sauce, parmesan. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
